Equipment

When it's time to replace your existing equipment, we consider it an opportunity to improve comfort while cutting energy costs.  Our technicians and analysts familiarize themselves with each project in order to create a comprehensive custom plan for energy savings for your home or business.

Cooling

When you need cooling, you depend on the performance of your air conditioning system.  Keeping your system in its original peak performance year after year requires preventative maintenance.  Since maintenance is scheduled in the spring, any major problems are caught and corrected early. Therfore, the likelyhood that your system will breakdown in the middle of summer deacreases significantly.

Preventive Maintenance

Your comfort depends on the performance of your air conditioning system. Poorly maintained systems often fail when they are needed the most. Preventative maintenance helps your system stay at its peak performance year after year. Here at Air Dynamics, we believe in the saying that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. The goal is to correct system problems early before they become more expensive to repair.

Air Conditioning and Heating Components

Located outside, the condenser is the hardest working component of the air conditioning system.

System specifications include the following:

  • Capacity is rated in BTU's or Tons.

  • SEER. (seasonal energy efficiency rating) is used to indicated equipment efficiency. The higher the SEER of a properly sized condenser, the lower the energy bill.

The evaporator and the furnace are located in either a closet or an attic. The evaporator is the device used to transfer heat from the house to the condenser via the refrigerant line. The furnace is used to circulate the air for cooling in the summer and warms the air in the winter. The evaporator, air handler, or blower must be properly matched to the condenser to obtain maximum efficiency of the system.

Packaged Units

Packaged units, mostly for commercial buildings, and are usually located on the roof. They provide cooling and heating in a fully self contained unit. They are available as either gas or electric models. Optional heating and cooling combinations and voltage to meet any light commercial requirements.
